3 ESSENTIAL WATERCOLOR WORKSHOPS
In these 2 and 3-day workshops, I will lead students through my approach to observational watercolor painting. Mornings, students will be working from the live model, and afternoons we will take inspiration from fruit and vegetables. Explore techniques for making fast and fluid monochromatic figure paintings, with poses that range from 30 seconds to a half-hour. Examine the finer details of nature, form, light and color in fresh local produce to paint simple essential colorful still lifes. Individual instruction will be given to each student. Valuable lessons from blending to wetness and use of the paper will assist artists for whom watercolor is new or familiar. All levels from complete beginners to professionals welcome.
