The academic workshop, Wendy Artin’s Engagement with the Classical Past, will take place at 4:00 p.m. on October 21st in the Multipurpose Room at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. Key themes of the exhibition will be discussed by Richard Neer, Alexander Potts, Gillian White, James Cogswell, with curator and museum director Christopher Ratté. A Reception will follow across the street at the Kelsey Museum.
The Kelsey Museum is open Tuesday – Friday 9 to 4, Saturday and Sunday 1 to 4, and is closed Mondays and University holidays.

January 4 – 8, 2016, I will be giving two workshops at the Art Students’ League of New York. Fast and Fluid Figures will be a workshop on watercolor nudes, and Painting the Essential Still Life in Watercolor will be a workshop on simple still life painting.
